I was watching Religion & Ethics Newsweekly on PBS Sunday afternoon, a show I have never viewed before, (the part about "clergy stress" caught my attention!), and saw something very interesting. They were reporting on a religion knowledge survey conducted by the Pew Research Center.
It was discovered that atheists, agnostics, Jews and Mormons stand out for their knowledge of the world's religions other than Christianity, while Mormons and evangelical Protestants score highest on questions of Bible knowledge and Christianity.
If you would like to see how you test out in your knowledge of basic religion, click here and take the 15-question quiz. You'll also be able to compare how well you did against others who took the survey. I just took it and it requires only a couple of minutes. Go ahead; give it a shot and let me know how you did!
